#001 Mid-July weekend with tropical music and romanticising your life

Issue #001

Good food, good music, good life

The sun will shine brightly this weekend in Portugal and it is the perfect occasion to shine like the main character that you are. Nothing is sweeter in life than good friends, good wine, good food, and good live music. Imagine that I am you today and picture this: Today (July 19th 2024) we are warming up with a two parties. One in the Jardim da Estrela in Lisbon for a city vibe and a beach club party in Caparica for those who want to escape. After dancing all night on the beach (yes I already pick which party I will attend) it’s time to restore our bodies with some amazing fresh food from our local farmers markets or head for a fabulous Greek experience. Finally, before doing our Sunday reset, let’s head out to Lx Factory for some live Brazilian music.

Beijinhos e doce vida.

Highlights

  • Looking for a party in the city center of Lisbon tonight? Then head out to Banana Café at Jardim de Estrela with À sombra da Bananeira for the best sunset party. It’s free for all so you just have to walk into it.
  • If you’re more into a beach vibe kind of party then you need to head out to Caparica for the first event of Sorry Mademoiselle at the Lorosae Rising Sun – Beach Club. You can find all the information here and don’t forget you most fashionable bathing suit and a disposable camera to remember this night.
  • After tonight we will need to get our groove back and so we will head out to the best Greek bistrot in Lisbon (in my opinion) to enjoy a good souvlaki and portokalopita for desert. Find our full critic on this bistrot here.
  • And yes it will already be Sunday and what would be the best way to end the weekend if not with Brazilian live music while drinking some white wine and eating a couple of coxinhas. Head out to Boqueirão and don’t forget to bring your best pagode moves.
